Adam was my nephew who was taken from us after a brave battle with 94% burns that he received after a fire was started at his home after his mum Velda McKelvie Nee Restorick was murdered.He was an adorable little boy who loved to play with his brothers Sean & Tommy but also loved spending time with the rest of his extended family.We all miss Adam very much and we no that if he had survived he would still be having treatment for his burns & its probably a blessing that god took him into his care & saved him from anymore pain & suffering & also reunited him with his mum.We miss you little man although you would have not been a little man anymore as you would have been 16 years old now precious angel xxxxx

Footprints In The Sand x
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My child, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

on your 17th birthday
Well mate what can i say its nearly been 14 years since you were taken away from us and today would have been your 17th birthday......i still remember your 3rd birthday so happy and energetic and not a care in the world who was to know that just four months later we would lose you.We all miss you so much Adam and would give anything to have changed that night especially me if only i had brought you to Nanna's house you would still be with us.Well you enjoy your party up there with Mum,Grandad Nanna and Caitlin and give them all a hug from us down here.Love you all so much xxxx

Lord, in this hour I need you, more than words could ever tell.
I feel as if I'm stranded on shores between heaven and hell...
I know you haven't left me, yet my heart feels void of hope.
I feel as if I'm hanging on an old and thread worn rope...
I feel as if my hearts been torn from the breast from which it came.
And sunshine will no longer fill my life, only clouds of darkness and rain...
I know this will pass,
and you will be there to give me comfort and strength and hope.
But until then I can't help the feeling that I'm down to that last thread of rope...
If it breaks, you'll be there to catch me, and raise me back to my feet...
But for now my world is in turmoil, and the essence of life is not sweet...
Give me power to overcome my oppression, and let sunshine back on my face.
